EAA Chapter 461 is located at Clow International Airport (1C5) in Bolingbrook Illinois.
Our meetings are usually held on the 1st Thursday of each month in the hanger of the Illinois Aviation Museum at 7pm.
Our next meeting is May 1st at 7pm.
Saturday the 12th is here and another season of Young Eagles flying is upon us. We look forward to another excellent flying season. We kick off the season from 9 am to noon with some great spring weather and a ramp full of airplanes ready to fly. Please take a look at our Young Eagles page for information about how you can participate in the program.
Bolingbrook's annual Cavalcade of Planes is just around the corner. The IAM will be rolling out some new displays and all of us are excited for another adventure at Oshkosh for AirVenture 2014. All in all, another busy flying season.
On May 3rd, at 10am we will be visiting Jack Bally's "Bally Bomber", a single seat replica of a B-17 bomber. He is on a private strip about a mile and half from Dixon IL airport (C73). We will discuss logistics of getting there during the May meeting.
There are plenty of opportunities to help us make this season another successful one. Please attend our next meeting and learn how you can help.
